Summer program at Holy Family Child Care
Summer Fest is an exciting camp for children that are at least four years of age and are entering preschool or kindergarten in the fall, or who had completed a Pre-K program. The children enjoy weekly themes and daily outdoor water play. In the classroom, they work on problem solving, self-help skills and how to control their emotions and behavior by using Conscious Discipline strategies and curriculum.
Trips and Activities
The summer program offers age appropriate activities including themed weeks, crafts, field trips, games, discovery and water play. We also have the opportunity to take the children on a few field trips. Our trips in the past have included the Schrader Center, Good Zoo, Mount St. Joseph, and the Children’s Museum. Parents also helped volunteer during each of these trips.
